In course of time, Pragati Precisions became an entrenched player in the machine components sector, catering to one of the world’s biggest companies, Bosch, and manufacturing defence components like chain for shell lifting mechanism for the Arjun Tanker in 1984, and other components like battery inserts, barrels for trecking, etc.

Goutham is an entrepreneur who symbolizes the true spirit of entrepreneurship in his journey spanning more than 40 years. Though a non-graduate, he studied business in the school of life and his first venture was Pragati Precisions, which manufactures precision machined components for automotive applications. Beginning with just one Skoda Automat, he expanded his plant capacity adding up a line of cutting edge CNC turning machines and VMCs.

Awards and encomiums followed for Pragati Precisions for being the Best Supplier, and optimizing costs for defence components manufacture. Mr. Goutham Chopda also established Mathru Krupa Marketing, a trading firm as a super stockist for Superflo Brand of sanitary fittings for 8 years throughout Karnataka, which leveraged his trading expertise and experience to market a diverse product range, owing to his ability to execute timely delivery, optimal after sales service, and driving sales growth year on year.

Hi-Power Junction developed a well-known reputation for its outstanding ability and acumen in trading of tubular Batteries for Southern Batteries Private Ltd’s Hi-Power brand, focused in key areas in South India.

Sheetal is a proprietor of Hi Power Junction extended his market base further through yet another sister concern which also entrenched itself by marketing a wide range of electrical products like UPS Batteries, LED lighting, and solar applications of various notable brands.

The company is today a major player in marketing of solar batteries, energy controllers, solar panels, LED lighting and providing solutions for solar lighting using solar panels, apart from having successfully installed many such projects.

As CEO of Pragati Precisions, a post he’s held for over a decade, has enabled him to have a strong hold on the processes related to precision machined components for automotive, aerospace and general engineering applications, as well as the implementation of ISO / TS 16949:2015 systems.

Hitesh is a qualified industrial engineer with a strong and motivated vision to achieve great milestones.
